Nina Lane An accomplished singer, Nina has worked for many years on the jazz and blues scene. She has appeared at the Edinburgh Festival, the Reading Jazz Festival and even as far a field as Hawaii. Her love of jazz and blues is obvious from the passion in her perfomances and she is equally at home with the work of Van Morrison and Bonnie Rait as Gershwin and Cole Porter. |

Alan Barwise One of the most respected and hard working drummers in Berkshire today, Alan has played with the great and the good. From folk bands such as the Aldbrickham Band and Kick Shins, to jazz and blues bands via a dalliance with the professional world with Clayson and the Argonauts. Alan's tight playing holds the rest of us rabble together.

Paul Critchfield Following the untimely death of our original bass player, Garry Jones, Paul has stepped into his shoes. Nuff said - what a star!

Nigel Rainer A relative newcomer to the Berkshire music scene, Nigel has been playing for many years and sites his influences as Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans and Dave Grusin. Equally at home with mellow jazz piano or screaming Hammond B3 blues, Nigel rounds off the rhythm section of the Nina Lane Band.

John Miller John Miller has played bass, guitar and keyboards in a variety of pub, club, country and jazz bands. He played rhythm guitar for years in a 'Django' quartet (or trio), 2 guitars, violin and upright bass, and also took part in many pub-jazz sessions around the Farnham area. Since settling in Farnham in '98 his guitar playing has been much in demand for many barn dance gigs and a few jazz ones too, and he is still learning to play guitar!

John Harries John has promised to provide some blurb, but we haven't got it yet. You'll have to make do with the mug shot.

We are the core of the band. However, we often have guest instrumentalists who join us for a variety of gigs, some of whom include Anatoliy Vyacheslavov or Alan Whetton (Tenor Sax) and Martin Vincent (Guitar). |
